Four Types of Patience
Steadfastness in worship without laziness, boredom, or delay.
«Seek help through patience and prayer.» — 2:45
Bearing trials, loss, and pain without complaint against Allah's decree.
«Give glad tidings to the patient — who, when struck by affliction, say: to Allah we belong and to Him we return.» — 2:155-156
Resisting desires and the urge to disobey Allah, choosing restraint.
«As for those who feared their Lord and restrained themselves from evil desires — Paradise is their refuge.» — 79:40-41
Steadfastness in faith when mocked, pressured, or harmed for practicing Islam.
«Be patient over what they say and avoid them graciously.» — 73:10

«Indeed, with hardship comes ease. Indeed, with hardship comes ease.»94:5-6
«O you who believe, seek help through patience and prayer. Allah is with the patient.»2:153
«O you who believe, be patient and endure; stand firm in faith and fear Allah, that you may succeed.»3:200
«Peace be upon you for your steadfastness — excellent is the final outcome.»13:24

«Allah says: When I take My servant's eyesight and he is patient, I compensate him with Paradise.»

Duʿāʾ for Hardship
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn
To Allah we belong and to Him we return. (for any trial)

Allāhumma'jurnī fī muṣībatī wa akhlif lī khayran minhā
O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it with better.
