Death
The soul is taken; the life of this world ends and the transition to barzakh begins. The Angel of Death extracts the soul, and the believer's soul exits easily while the disbeliever's is pulled out harshly.
3:185 — «Every soul will taste death.»
Barzakh (the barrier)
A waiting state between death and resurrection. The grave is either a garden of Paradise or a pit of the Fire. The soul is shown its place in Paradise or the Fire each morning and evening.

The trial of the grave
Two angels, Munkar and Nakīr, ask: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your Prophet? The believer answers firmly; the disbeliever is unable.

Resurrection (al-Baʿth)
Allah sends the rain of life, and people rise from their graves to stand before their Lord. The earth splits open and bodies are reassembled by the One who created them the first time.
22:7 — «The Hour is coming; there is no doubt in it, and Allah will resurrect those in the graves.»
The Gathering (al-Ḥashr)
People are gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised, to the land of gathering. The earth is changed to a white plain, and none gathers them but Allah.

The Accounting (al-Ḥisāb)
Each person is questioned about their deeds, wealth, body, and time. The account is given in the presence of witnesses; nothing is overlooked.

The Scale (al-Mīzān)
Good and evil deeds are weighed; heavy scales mean success, light ones mean loss. Even the smallest good is weighed, and even the smallest evil.

The Book of deeds
The record is given — in the right hand (success and ease), the left hand (ruin), or behind the back (severe loss). Every action, word, and intention is recorded.

The Basin (al-Ḥawḍ)
The Prophet ﷺ waits at his basin; whoever drinks from it never thirsts again. Its water is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, its vessels more numerous than the stars.

The Bridge (aṣ-Ṣirāṭ)
A bridge sharper than a sword and thinner than a hair over the Fire; people cross according to their deeds — some like lightning, some like a galloping horse, some crawling.
Muslim
The Wall (al-Aʿrāf)
A elevated place between Paradise and the Fire where people whose good and evil are equal wait until Allah judges them and admits them to Paradise by His mercy.

Intercession (ash-Shafāʿah)
By Allah's permission, the Prophet ﷺ and others intercede for the believers. The greatest intercession is the Praised Station (al-Maqām al-Maḥmūd).

Paradise & the Fire
The final abode: Paradise for the righteous, with eternal bliss, and the Fire for the disbelievers and wrongdoers. The believer may be purified and then enter Paradise.
