Standing at ʿArafāt on the 9th of Dhū al-Ḥijjah — the pillar of Ḥajj. Whoever misses it has missed Ḥajj.

Circumambulating the Kaʿbah seven times, starting from the Black Stone, keeping the Kaʿbah on the left.

Running between Ṣafā and Marwah seven times, retracing the steps of Hājar in search of water for Ismāʿīl.

Taḥlīl — shaving (ḥalq) or trimming (taqsīr) the hair to exit Iḥrām. Shaving is preferred for men.

Iḥrām
Enter Iḥrām at the mīqāt, recite the talbiyah, and make the intention for Ḥajj (or ʿUmrah for tamattuʿ).

Ṭawāf al-Qudūm
Arriving tawāf upon reaching Makkah for those performing ifrād or qirān.
Sunnah
Day of Tarwiyah (8th)
Proceed to Minā and stay overnight, praying the five prayers shortened.

Wuqūf at ʿArafāt after sunrise until sunset — the day of greatest duʿā. Then move to Muzdalifah after sunset.

Eid Day (10th)
Stoning the Jamrat al-ʿAqabah with seven pebbles, sacrifice of the animal, shaving the head, Ṭawāf al-Ifāḍah.

Ayyām al-Tashrīq (11th–13th)
Stoning the three jamarāt each day (7 each), stay in Minā, then leave before sunset on the 13th (or 12th).

Ṭawāf al-Wadāʿ before leaving Makkah — the last act of Ḥajj, obligatory for all pilgrims.

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Talbiyah
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Truly all praise, blessings and dominion are Yours, You have no partner.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Duʿā at ʿArafāt
There is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.

At the Black Stone
Allah is the Greatest — said each time one begins a round of Ṭawāf at the Black Stone.

Between Ṣafā and Marwah (at Ṣafā)
Indeed, Ṣafā and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah — then begin Saʿy.

Duʿā after stoning
O Allah, make it an accepted Ḥajj and a forgiven sin.
