The Seerah - Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Study the detailed biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from birth to death.
The Seerah (biography) of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the study of his entire life — from his birth in 570 CE to his death in 632 CE. He was born in Makkah, orphaned at a young age, and raised by his uncle Abu Talib. Known as Al-Amin (the Trustworthy), he never told a lie. At 25, he married Khadijah (RA). At 40, he received the first revelation in the Cave of Hira: Read! In the name of your Lord who created. For 13 years in Makkah, he called people to Islam, facing severe persecution. In 622 CE, he migrated (Hijrah) to Madinah, establishing the first Islamic community. In Madinah, he established prayer, fasting, charity, and the Islamic state. He faced many battles — Badr (624), Uhud (625), Khandaq (627), and the Conquest of Makkah (630). He forgave his enemies, establishing peace and justice. In his Final Sermon (632 CE), he summarized: worship Allah, pray, fast, give Zakat, perform Hajj, treat women kindly, hold fast to the Quran, and know that no Arab is superior to a non-Arab except by piety. He passed away on June 8, 632 CE, leaving behind the Quran and his Sunnah as guidance.
