Helping Others - A Beautiful Sunnah

Helping others is a beautiful thing in Islam! When you help your mom clean up, help your friend carry something, or help someone who is sad, Allah is very happy with you. The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother. This means when you help others, Allah helps YOU! The Prophet ﷺ also said: The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. Even small things count! If you pick up something someone dropped, give food to someone hungry, or just smile at someone who is sad, that's helping! The Prophet ﷺ said even a smile to your brother is charity. So always look for ways to help — at home, at school, and everywhere. Every time you help someone, Allah helps you and loves you more!
Qur'an Verses
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ
Wa ta'awanu 'ala al-birri wa at-taqwa
Translation: And cooperate in righteousness and piety.
Authentic Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ said: The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.
Explanation
This hadith shows that being helpful is one of the most beloved qualities to Allah. The best Muslims are those who benefit others.
