Thanking Allah for Our Food
Learn to say Alhamdulillah and thank Allah for every meal.
Allah gives us food every day! He gives us bread, rice, fruits, milk, and so many delicious things. Every time we eat, we should say Bismillah before and Alhamdulillah after. The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah is pleased with the servant who eats a meal and praises Him for it. When we thank Allah for our food, He gives us even more! Some children in the world don't have enough food. So we should never waste our food and always be grateful. The Prophet ﷺ told us: The food of one person is enough for two. This means we should share our food with others. So remember: thank Allah for every bite!
Qur'an Verses
