Sharing is Caring - Islamic Manners

Learn that sharing with others makes Allah very happy.

Lesson & Story

Sharing is a beautiful thing in Islam! When you share your toys, your food, or your time with others, Allah is very happy. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.' This means you should want good things for others just like you want them for yourself. When you share, Allah gives you even more! If you have two cookies, give one to your friend. If you have toys, let others play with them. The Prophet ﷺ also said: 'Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother.' So always share — it makes Allah happy, it makes your friends happy, and it makes you happy too!

Qur'an Verses

Wa ta'awanu 'ala al-birri wa at-taqwa

Translation: And cooperate in righteousness and piety.
