The Mosque - Allah's House

We say 'Assalamu alaykum' to the people there. In the mosque, we pray Salah, read the Quran, and learn about Islam. The most special mosque is the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, where the Ka'bah is. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques.' Going to the mosque makes Allah happy, and every step you take toward the mosque earns you a good deed!
Qur'an Verses
إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ
Innama ya'muru masajida Allahi man amana billahi wa al-yawmi al-akhir
Translation: The mosques of Allah are only maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day.
Authentic Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques, and the most hated places to Allah are the markets.'
Explanation
This hadith shows how special the mosque is to Allah. It is a place of peace, prayer, and worship — the opposite of busy, worldly places.
