Lesson & Story

Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) was a messenger of Allah. He was sent to teach his people about Allah and to stop them from doing bad things. For 950 years, Prophet Nuh called his people to believe in Allah, but most of them did not listen. They made fun of him and rejected his message. Allah told Prophet Nuh to build a great ship — an ark. Even though there was no sea nearby and people laughed at him, Prophet Nuh obeyed Allah and built the ark. Then Allah sent a great flood. The water covered everything. Only Prophet Nuh and the believers, along with pairs of every animal, were safe on the ark. This story teaches us to always have patience, to listen to Allah, and to never give up doing good, even when others make fun of us.
